God Can Only Save Us

Though the Indian constitution, which is also known as the basic law of the land, provides equal rights to all the citizens, there are many reports of inequalities. The constitution says before law all are equal. But practically the gap between the rich and the poor seems to be widening. The most important reason is that the poor people do not have any representation in the legislative bodies. As long as the country’s politicians are greedy, selfish, corrupt, lazy, irresponsible, and do not show much interest in solving the problems of the disadvantaged people, the inequalities are bound to persist.
