He is a breath of fresh air on the foreign policy train wreck that has been American unilateralism. We are in a new century folks. You can fight it if you want, but you are pissing in the wind. Preserving our way of life and security requires the common sense approach he is taking, and the olive branch approach to moderates.

Obama knows diddley about world or its history. Obama thinks Austrian is a language. Obama thought the United States largest trading partner and closest neighbour, Canada, has a ‘president’.

It seems to me that President Obama sees the big picture. He’s got a depth of knowledge about the world and history of it that Bush never posessed. Militant Islamists are probably just as dangerous and intolerent as militiant Christians.

Obama did oppose the war.
Now He primarily opposes the US winning the war. It’s more important to read the terrorist his rights, then provide an attorney if they can’t afford one.

Everything that has been tried in the past has failed. As human beings, we continue to ignore history and repeat the same patterns century after century after century, and where has it gotten us? Here is a man who is embracing the possibility that humans can evolve and learn to collaborate, to achieve common goals, and to build on the best that resides in all of us. Be patient. Give the man a chance. This experiment is long, long, long overdue.

Obama stated that without the quick passing of the stimulus bill, unemployment could not be kept below 8%. The bill was passed and unemployment is at 9.4%.
Now the economic neophyte talks about ‘jobs saved’. What a load of bullshit. How does He measure that number? Probably the same way He measures unemployment.
Figures don’t lie but this liar can sure figure.

..Saudi Arabia invests close to a Trillion dollar in the American markets while the US investments in there isnt even close to one tenth of that number, does that makes the Saudis smarter than you for example?, does that make their educational system superior to your educational system?, do you know what your point is even? Trust me my friend I believe in the American educational system and if you do too I advice you to shut up, cause the more you talk the more you prove how LOW was yours.

FrisianDude. My husband’s family are all Muslims. I am Christian. They are so cool. In fact, I’ve never heard a peep out of them about their religion. They tell me if I ask them. Sadly, they can’t get visas to come to the United States and become educated. They don’t need to “forward” their faith. I hate to say it, but they don’t care if you’re Christian. Extremists just get more press… yeah…all 19 of them that bombed the WTC. What about the billions of others?

1. It could be seen that way. But when he was talking about this he was trying to point out how U.S. law has defended Muslim rights. It wasn’t about women’s rights. When he did discuss women’s rights, I suppose education was a little more important a point to make.
2. Well the state of Israel was created in the aftermath of WWII. Before that
regardless of where Israelis belong they had no state of their own. It was truly established.

If you were a student of history, you’d know that, when Europeans were debating the religious implications of hygiene in the Middle Ages, Muslim Arabs had public lighting in their streets and were developing advanced mathematical theory. I’m not Arab, and I’m not Mulsim. In fact, I’m on the same page as Bill Maher when it comes to religion. If you really believed in the superiority of your race, you wouldn’t feel the need to lash out at others.

Did you listen to the speech? He said here no troops whatsoever by 2012.
I’ve never liked his bailout plan but the republican plan looked to contain a whole lot of hurt. In fact, no matter what was done to fix the mess bush (and his legislative branch) let us slide into would have been very nice.
Why would you think he’s against war? Because of Iraq? No he’s against stupid war.
Jobs? again never really believed his (or any plan) would help us here.
