If you had listened to Obama’s speech, he said that Martin Luther King, his wife and infant child were almost murdered but Mr King did not seek vengence but forgave his would be assassins which is what Obama is asking us all to do, yet you say he is not brilliant for saying these things, that this speech will destroy America, all I can say to you is that the devil is your master!

The theme of Obama’s speech is asking for civility. Funny that it’s not shown in the comments on this page.
“Civility also requires relearning how to disagree without being disagreeable — understanding, as President [Kennedy] said, ‘Civility is not a sign of weakness.’ Now I am the first to confess I am not always right. Michelle will testify to that. But surely, you can question my policies without questioning my faith. Or for that matter, my citizenship.”
This was a very good speech.

This event is unconstitutional and non-inclusive. What are the 30 million non-believing Americans supposed to think when OUR tax dollars get spent for an event that celebrates the benefits of prayer? What about the millions of polytheists who don’t want to be lectured about “listening to God’s voice?”
