How can we call ourselves the greatest nation on earth, and be ranked 26 out of 30 industrilize nations for life expectancy. Wake up and smell the coffee. I rather have the gov decide on what i need, then corpororate greed, to make that decision for me.

Anyone who blames Obama for the GOP mess is in no position to demand anything for anyone.

I don’t stand for the deficit this will create. The politics here is Obama’s ego.

Anyone who supports this reform is risking their reelection. They are true statesmen and not greedy politicians, and if that doesn’t earn the respect of their voters, I don’t know what will.

He’s not trying to get rid of capitalism, he’s trying to curb corporate greed of the most disgusting kind: profiting from robbing people of their money in order to keep them healthy. Seriously, it’s like it’s out of a movie or something the things they get away with.

  10. homecatorange said:

And what has he been pushing for so hard for the last few weeks?

Health care. EXACTLY what he has been talking about.

Why are you complaining? His campaign promise was to end the war in Iraq (Persia) by 2012, and he has accelerated his plans.

I am guessing that you are not an American, but if you are, read the fucking statements, etc. concerning an issue instead of just forming your own fantasy. If not, don’t just form your own fantasy based on the idea that he’s the savior for people who wipe their asses with their left hands.

Also, stop the Cap and Trade bill. The last thing we need is more taxes.

My girlfriend mom spent a few days in the hospital with pneumonia and they billed her for $15,000. That’s legalized robbery. Give us all Medicare.

I’m afraid you go mentally broke by those ignorant morons agreeing about the need for reforms but rather like to hurt you.

You wanna do good for the country but they rather like to advance their career.

They’re not capitalist; they’re corporatists. Competition is not waged on the battlefield, but in the back doors of Congress. It’s not just Wall Street; CEO’s are routinely rewarded for failure. Every major utility I have is a monopoly for all intents and purposes. The markets are manipulated by larger instittutions and by those with better information.
