I don’t go there to “die with them” because I’m not strong enough nor brave enough. I’ve got friends from highschool and friends made after highschool who are deployed in various places around the world and many have faced danger. They had no illusions about what was going on. They don’t feel they’re being duped and they don’t like it when others try to feel that way on their behalf.

Health care being taken over would have consisted of private insurers being shut down. None of that came up as an issue, because it’s not there in the reform. The closure of private insurers wasn’t even used as a scare tactic, which shocks me. Instead, regulation was painted as a big bad scary thing.

The unfortunate thing is that once he is in the president’s position, he becomes privy to national security and army intelligence information that the public has no access to. There’s a good chance he became aware of information that changed his position to a slow withdrawal compared to a move that is akin to losing a match in Jenga.

@Henroidt ~ During a time of War the President does have special War Time Powers. He is Commander and Chief of the Army which answers directly to him. That is why Papa Bush and Baby Bush both wanted to be and were at WAR. As a candidate President O’ promised to pull the troops out of Iraq and send them to Afghanistan. I do not believe any troops have come out if Iraq because he is planning an invasion of Iran. We have them surrounded.

@Henroidt What’s the difference between national socialists fascism and communism? The answer is that in communist USSR the government owned everything, in fascist Germany businesses were privately operated under federal control. Obamas takeover of banks, the auto industry, and healthcare are more similar to what happened in Nazi Germany. As for the teaparty movement I thought that the official line was that it was small and irrelevant.

Yeah… you should be right, but still, Its not the Congress that spitted campaign bullshit on Americans for a Year. It is not the Congress that promised “hope” & “change”.
It is not the congress that would stop War and has now expanded it in new fronts.
It is not the Congress that got the Peace Nobel price for sending troops to their death. It is not the Congress that was handfed and groomed by Zbigniev Brzezinsky. Its not the Congress that gave new interest in the same old corrupted politics
